I started Something Bleu in September of 2009 with the intention of making an online wedding planning magazine – one that talked about marriage finances, featured interviews with advice and thoughtful commentary on the wedding planning process, and offered inspiration for more than just the wedding day. As time went on, however, I realized that I didn’t have the time to produce quality posts about at magazine-publishing-rate and so Something Bleu sat dormant for several months.
During those months, I thought a lot about why Something Bleu was – and is still – an important project for me. And realized that I needed to redefine the purpose and direction of Something Bleu as first and primarily a resource for you in starting your new marriage.
So I’m debuting Something Bleu again as a resource blog. I hope that the posts to come will be helpful in inspiring you in planning not only for the very special day that will be your wedding day, but also for all the days to follow.
